There are a number of paths that may have gotten you to this page. Whatever the path, whatever the reason: Welcome. It’s great to have you here. If you can, take a beat to let your bones settle. We’ll get to where we’re going, but it’s good to have you here, now.

 

Who the heck is Em House?

Em (they/them) is a passionate advocate for people’s growth and resilience. They are committed to change-making through transparency, radical self-acceptance, courageous vision, and intersectional collective action. Currently, Em works as a faculty member (MEd) for the Co-Active Training Institute's Coach Training and Leadership programs, as a facilitator and leadership coach for the Roundtable Institute, as well as a Co-Active coach (PCC, CPCC), and a therapist for Philadelphia’s LGBTQ+ communities (MSW, LCSW). Across all professions, Em’s approach is marked by their unique blend of down-to-earth honesty, compassion, and playfulness.

  • Sunflower opens towards the sun

    Individual Coaching

    50-minute sessions working on a topic brought to session. Sessions combine Co-Active, gestalt, and somatic principles, supporting clients in areas of healing and growth. Sessions offered per diem or in packages.

    Certification Coaching

    A 6-month package for coaches going through Certification. Package blends individual coaching, metaview analysis, peer mentorship and exam preparation.

  • An interracial queer couple holds hands

    Queer Sex & Relationship Therapy

    Supporting LGBTQ+ people around the complexities of intimate connection with self and others. Offering 50 minute individual and 90 minute couples’ sessions.

  • MSW/LSW Supervision

    Short- or long-term licensure supervision for Pennsylvania-based MSWs and LSWs. Supporting emerging therapists who are strengthening their therapeutic style and seeking greater freedom in the field of social work.

  • Gender-Affirming Surgery Letters

    We all have a right to bodily autonomy. Sliding scale consult and free mental health letters supporting gender-affirming surgical procedures for PA residents.

  • Nature-based Sessions

    90-minute in-person walk and talk sessions in the nature of Wissahickon Park. 30 minute virtual preparatory session initially required.
